little miss opinion
One of Ada's nicknames that has come and stuck is "Picky-Picky" - and while it didn't originate from her desire to voice her opinion it certainly has come to suit her really well. It's amazing to me that a child can only communicate in single words, points and grunts can effectively can get her point across and get what she wants (within reason, of course). She is a picky eater, she knows what she wants at play time, she doesn't respond well to being told no (but I don't think that's picky so much as just plain stubborn) and recently, even picky about what she wants to wear. This morning before we left for the store she was insistent upon wearing her black shoes, not her pink and green ones, but then when she woke up from her nap she refused to put her jean jumper back on, and had to have her vest on too... and her pink shoes (but still not the green and pink ones that Mama thought would have been cute with the green tights). So by the end of the day this was Ada's outfit. Haha!

Can't handle the cuteness. Love her hair, too. =)
