Weekend Recap

I'm not sure if it was the meltdown from all the attention and company we had, or from the vaccinations he got on Tuesday, likely it was a combination of the two, but Moses wasn't a very happy kid last week. He decided that his morning nap was no longer necessary and then tossed and turned in fits of overtiredness during his afternoon nap. This picture is a pretty good representation of how the week went.

But we pushed through and made it to the weekend! We headed up to Messiah College for Josh's graduation and, once again, Moses did not get a morning nap. We hit traffic once we got near campus, so we did our best to keep the tired dude entertained. (my third theory about his crankiness last week is that his brain was growing and he didn't know how to handle it!) He was playing peek-a-boo with US! That was a new one!

It was a little overcast for the ceremony, but only rained for 5 minutes tops and ended up being a beautiful day.

Uncle Jordan and Aunt Sarah kept Moses entertained while we waited for the ceremony to be over.

Jeremy and Jordan picked on their brother, because it would have been disappointing if they hadn't.

Courtney (my roommate from freshman and sophomore year) and Ted's (her college boyfriend and now husband) sister graduated, too. They have a baby, Wyatt, that's 2 1/2 months younger than Moses. They did the baby stare down. (and Wyatt's such a cutie I had to post another picture of him!)
And lastly, we went to Philly for Jed and Erin's wedding! Jeremy got to catch up with some good friends. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception and we danced the night away (we really did, even Jeremy!) The night of freedom was great, but we woke up the next morning feeling like we'd had "too much party."

Overall it was a great weekend! One wedding down, two to go! We'll be back in Philly this weekend for Cindy and Ben's wedding, this time with Moses in tow. I'll be back with an update from those events soon!
